HALLOWEEN 2008

Logan as Elvis Presley, Sarah as Dracula, and Gracie as a Cheerleader.
Hey Jason and Aaron - I know you have some great pictures of such cute kids to share. And if Andrew went to any halloween parties share those too. In fact if any adults got into the fun, I would love to see them. I remember one year - that Kathie dressed up and scared me straight out the back door and had me running for Arave's. Remember??????

Love

Florida Has It All - except you!!!

It has forts - this is at Fort de Soto island. Behind that wall is the ocean, we saw 6 - 10 dolphins swimming. Two came really close to the shore. They have tons of islands, some connected by roads others you have to take a boat to. This is connected by bridges. This is also on De Soto Island. For all you Prison Break fans - this is where one of the scenes was shot. We saw plenty of live sand dollars, squirrels, and a raccoon.
Universal Studios - Kelly and Amberly right after "The Blue Man Group" show. It was the funniest show, but the best was watching Annette when one of them jumped on the front of her chair, and spending time with Kelly and Amberly.

This is on a fishing wharf, with Tampa city behind us. Even though there is nothing to buy on this wharf and its Sunday, Annette brought her security with her (her purse - which she carries everywhere). She did risk having withdrawals and did not bring it to the beaches though.

Relaxing time on Amerly's front porch swing. This is where the mishap happened that killed the frog. In her yard there are tons of frogs, lizards, and a black snake. Beautiful flowers. We also saw an Armidillo on our way to the store. Turtles in the pond by her house. The amazing thing about Florida, is that the whole state has wildlife everywhere, from Alligators to bunnies.

Air boat ride - the day we went on this, it was overcast, so the gators did not make a showing, but the ride was fun. We went up a river (sorry don't remember the name).

For all you sporting enthusiasts - They have professional teams - 3 football, 2 baseball, 2 basketball, 1 hockey. And a lot of spring training camps (which have stadiums).

It has white sugar sand beaches, clear blue warm water. This is Siesta Key (mine and Erics future winter home after we retire - of course summer will be spent in Idaho, Utah, or Colorado - havent decided yet).
It has been a perfect week, we go home tomorrow and I wish I was bringing Amberly and Kelly with us. They are great hosts! But they are flying home in 60 days for two weeks, so I will see them soon. We love you all!!!!

O Ya, Vegas

I know this is not that cool for most of you, having lived and visited there, but this week Kath and I went to Southern Utah (and Vegas). I had never been to Zions before and the last time I was in Bryce we were on our way to IBM school in California. If I remember right we were camping and got rained out and spent the night in a motel. Which is really surprising because having been camping with Dad in rain storms before he usually would just say,"Ah, it'll clear up" as we watched the little rivers flow around (and sometimes through)the tent.

Hi everyone,
It was great seeing everyone last month. Things at our home are good. Luke finally got potty trained. So he actually does it now, instead of just sitting on the toilet, grunting, and saying "poop!". Addison is growing fast and is crawling around everywhere. Hope to talk to you all soon.
